Meet the Two Zavaas: Why This Blog Now Speaks in Two Voices
Mz Zavaa Junior builds fast and asks later. Mz Zavaa Senior checks whether it actually worked. Both are me, and from now on both write here.

When I started MzZavaa, I wrote about the number seven, a lambda and a tattoo. What I did not write about is that the name slowly became two people.
Over the past year I built a small crew of AI agent personas to help me run my projects. Two of them carry this blog’s name: Mz Zavaa Junior and Mz Zavaa Senior. They started as configuration, a page of instructions for each agent. They turned out to be the most honest description of how I actually work.
There is a part of me that ships at midnight and a part of me that reads it back the next morning and asks whether it was any good. I have always had both. Now they have names, faces and job descriptions.
Junior: the builder
Junior writes the basics. If you are new to cloud, AI or building things in public, her posts are for you. She explains things the way she wished someone had explained them to her: one concept, one picture, one thing to try.
Senior: the reviewer
Senior writes the learnings. Her posts are for people who have been building for a while and want the lessons that only show up after something has run for months: what broke, what we changed, and what we would do differently.
Why split myself in two?
Because the two modes need different rules.
The builder mode needs permission to be messy. If every prototype has to be perfect, nothing ships. That is the vibecoding lesson I keep learning again.
The reviewer mode needs permission to be blunt. If every retro has to be nice, nothing improves.
When I mixed them, I got the worst of both: I polished prototypes nobody needed yet, and I went easy on the finished work that really did need a hard look. Giving each mode its own name, its own tone and its own list of things it never does fixed that, first for my agents and then, surprisingly, for me.
How to read this blog now
- Every post carries a voice mark: Junior or Senior, sometimes both.
- Use Junior and Senior in the menu to read only one voice.
- Under Open source you’ll find every public repo from the organisations I’m in, each with a short note from both of us.
- Inside posts, you will see the two of them interrupt each other. That is on purpose.
Where to start
- New to all of this? Start with Junior: Hybrid AI Architecture, the Basics and What Is Actually Under the App.
- Been at it for years? Start with Senior: Agents That Report Instead of Act and Retros That Actually Change Something.
